Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an Active Directory SME for a contract opening with one of our largest clients!

This is a Contract Opportunity with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY, NO visa sponsorship or C2C eligibility for this position.  The details are below.

Job Title: Active Directory SME

Contract: 24 Months 

Location: Tampa, FL

Job/Role Description:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory infrastructure in accordance with industry best practices and organizational requirements.
  • Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security policies, manage user and computer configurations, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Monitor Active Directory performance and health, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Plan and execute Active Directory migrations, upgrades, and consolidations as needed.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Active Directory with other systems and services, such as Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior IT staff members and end-users on Active Directory-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Active Directory technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours incidents as required.
  • Assist with Active Directory-related security audits and compliance assessments.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Active Directory Subject Matter Expert, with at least [X years] of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Active Directory environments.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS).
  • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, and other core Active Directory protocols and services.
  • Experience with Active Directory integration with cloud services such as Azure AD and Office 365.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex Active Directory issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or similar are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
