Pay rate: Up to $40/hr

Engagement Description

Mac Client Systems Specialist with a focus on macOS, productivity & office applications, Mac application packaging and deployment, and client management to join our IT Services organization. Be a technical contributor implementing a robust, secure, low impact, high performance management infrastructure for our fleet of macOS endpoints.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain OSX images
  • Develop and Deploy software packages in UEM
  • Lead Mac hardware deployments which include development of enterprise standards
  • Perform MAC lifecycle replacements
  • Monitor and maintain client computer and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security
  • Drive best practices, process improvement, and change management requests
  • Drive automation and shift-left activities to the enterprise digital command center
  • Consistently monitor, document, and report administration activities and network operating environment information
  • Handle escalated Incident, Problem or Service Requests tickets for hardware/software support which may include occasional afterhours activities

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ experience with VMWare Workspace One UEM, MDM (multiple Device Management) & Intune, required.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in development and deployment of software packages in UEM required.
  • Building, maintaining, and handling macOS deployment and upgrade workflows, required.
  • Excellent customer service skills, required.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify, research, and resolve simple to moderately complex technical support issues independently, required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, preferred
  • Knowledge in Microsoft and OSX business applications, preferred.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication, preferred
  • The ability to work independently without daily direction, preferred.
