Job Title: Front-End Designer/Developer
Duration: 12 Month contract; chance to extend/convert to full time.
Location: New York, NY (HYBRID)
Pay Rate: 70-75$/HR (open for negotiation)

Required Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of experience in front-end development
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong understanding of modern UI design patterns and human-centered design principles
- Experience with React JavaScript framework
- Experience with [iOS + Android]
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Strong desire to learn new languages and technologies, stay updated with new technologies, trends and best practices of front-end development
- Strong understanding of code performance and optimization techniques
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using with design patterns. High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Experience creating, maintaining and shipping top-ranking, category-defining mobile and web apps
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Interaction Design, or related field
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop beautiful, functional front-end UI and experiences for mobile apps and web-based applications
- Translate business and customer requirements into elegant experiences
- Collaborate with designers to build and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible design systems
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure design integrity throughout the development lifecycle, bridging the gap between design and code
- Leverage your diverse skill set to craft prototypes and proofs-of-concept that push the boundaries of what’s possible and bring joy to every customer interaction
- Craft code that controls the look and feel of an experience: colors, typography, responsive layout, motion, interactions, and any other visual aspect of the UI
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Optimize code for performance, stability and maintainability
- Work with cross-functional teams of application/UI software engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA/ValidationCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
