Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Database Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI!
Title: Database Administrator
Location: Detroit, MI (hybrid onsite/remote)
Duration: 24 Months
Role Type: W2 contract engagement
Skillset:
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle, MS SQL Server and DB2.
- 5+ years of RMAN backup and recovery
- 5+ years of Dataguard
- 5+ years of ASM with Grid Control
Required:
- Experienced in various technologies like Oracle, SQL server, DB2 in all versions
- Able to help on new technologies
- Should be able to work independently
- Support on-call (Weekly Basis) and off hour support
- Performance tuning in Oracle, SQL Server and DB2.
Oracle Experience:
- Upgrade experience from lower to higher versions
- Production Support
- Dataguard experience
- Installations/Patching
SQL server Experience:
- Experienced in Always On
- Upgrade experience from lower to higher versions
- Production support
- Installation/Patching
DB2 Experience:
- Able to support with out 3rd party tools
- Installation/Patching
- Production Support
