Job Title: Change Manager

Location(s): Houston, TX (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours

Duration: 12 Months

This is a Contract Opportunity with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY, NO C2C eligibility for this position.


Work with Global Advisor Team Leads, Product Owners, Trading COE Analysts, Project Managers to support the solutions deployed by Trading COE, including system, process, and org capability changes across Supply and Trading.

Stakeholder engagement – includes building visible sponsorship and having a coordinated approach to engage stakeholders.

Job Description/Duties:

  • Manage stakeholder engagement plans and trackers and monitor for themes and issues to be addressed.
  • Communication – includes multiple channels for targeted product line and project information and announcements.
  • Define and conduct communication plans, develop communication content, monitor communication channels.
  • Change readiness – includes change/transition planning (e.g., change impact assessment, change risk management, business readiness), change champion network, competency development (e.g. end user training and desk guides), shaping and reinforcing desired behaviors, measuring the effectiveness of the change (e.g. benefits realization, end user surveys), and coordinating change activities with affiliated projects and teams (e.g. other S&T initiatives, VCO COE, digital platforms, Trading Capability team).
  • Utilize existing toolkit and templates for change management, communications, stakeholder engagement.
  • Build change management fluency in Trading COE teams to understand and apply change principles and identify change risks.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Stakeholder management, communication planning and content development, behavioral change readiness and risk management
  • End user training, workshop planning and facilitation
  • IT project and/or product management, process improvement and redesign, digital platform, Agile and Scaled Agile.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Company values of diversity and inclusion, leading performance, trust and integrity, partnership, and people and the environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in building and applying knowledge and skills across the value chain to deliver enterprise value.
  • Energy Industry (Oil and Gas) and Trading experience preferred.
