Business Systems Analyst (Entry level)
Contract: 6 Months – CONTRACT TO HIRE
Location: Tampa, FL Hybrid Schedule – 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Pay Rate: $33-35/ HR W-2
This is an entry-level opportunity with growth potential. This position will receive training and mentoring from the Manager and more senior level Solutions Specialist.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience supporting technology solutions in a business environment
- Note: A college degree may substitute for 1 year of experience
Coursework or experience in:
- SDLC environments
- Requirements gathering & UAT test case creation
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field (e.g., Accounting, Communications, Math, CIS, Engineering)
Preferred Experience with:
- SAP billing functions (especially CRM/IS-U: customer service, billing, finance, or device management)
- Production support systems (especially ServiceNow)
- Project tracking tools (Smartsheet preferred)
- Working in a regulated utility environment
Day to Day
- Provide entry-level support through incident triage, testing, and resolution of low-complexity issues while building solution knowledge.
- Collaborate with business and tech teams to assess and prioritize incidents and requests; ensure timely updates and closures in ServiceOne (25%).
- Support requirements gathering, user testing, and delivery of enhancements; maintain documentation including process flows and test results (25%).
- Build knowledge of assigned functional areas, solution integrations, and participate in solution updates and implementations (20%).
- Engage with business users to improve process understanding and identify opportunities for efficiency; learn relevant business operations and regulations (20%).
- Gain familiarity with business and technical master data models and data governance reporting (10%).
