Job Title: QA Analyst (Tosca Preferred)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking a QA Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in test automation, with Tosca experience highly preferred. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong API testing and scripting capabilities, able to operate with minimal supervision and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Review business and technical requirements to identify testing scope.

Develop detailed test scenarios, cases, and scripts.

Execute API testing and automated test cases using preferred tools.

Log, track, and validate defects using standard processes.

Maintain test artifacts: scripts, scenarios, test data, and traceability to requirements.

Ensure accessibility and clarity of test results and documentation.

Support and uphold defined testing standards, guidelines, and methodologies.

Collaborate with Test Lead to evaluate test results and ensure alignment with entry/exit criteria.

Develop framework components and reusable automation functions.

Create user documentation and maintenance guides for scripts.
Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum requirement)

Experience:
-
5–10 years of experience in software testing

Solid API Testing experience
-
Proven Test Automation background
-

Technical Skills:
-
Tosca experience or certification (preferred but not required)

Other automation tool experience is acceptable

Preferred Skills:
-
Certified or hands-on experience with Tosca test automation tool

Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, or other QA tracking tools

Experience working in utility, energy, or regulated industries is a plus
