Job Title: Information Security Specialist – Sensitive Data Management (SDM)
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay: $38/hr – W2

Job Summary:
As a dedicated Information Security Specialist – Sensitive Data Management (SDM), you will join the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team to deliver high-quality data protection and management solutions. This role focuses on implementing and supporting internal controls, data loss prevention, data discovery, classification, and governance documentation. You will also contribute to development efforts around Tokenization, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support sensitive data controls to protect PCI, PHI, PII, and IP data.
- Develop policies and monitor alerts for Email Security and Network Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Contribute to Data Centric Information Security Issue Remediation and Tokenization strategy.
- Participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, and goal setting.
- Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and control consistency.
- Manage and complete work assignments via ServiceNow and other internal platforms.
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of sensitive data security issues from discovery through remediation.
- Assist with publishing and maintaining complex governance materials such as policies and standards.
- Conduct sensitive data security risk assessments on projects involving new technologies or unstructured domains.
- Research and analyze emerging data governance threats, tools, and vulnerabilities, sharing insights across teams.
- Ensure effective development, testing, and health of Sensitive Data Security controls.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Information Security and Data Governance standards, as well as relevant laws and frameworks.

Daily Duties Using Technology Tools:
- Participate in technical conversations and implementation planning.
- Review deliverables and support completion of sprint tasks.
- Drive automation of existing manual processes.
- Monitor and maintain health of data protection processes and controls.
- Provide customer support throughout the data discovery to remediation lifecycle.
- Resolve incidents and assignments via ServiceNow.
