Job Description:

  • This position serves as administrator and technical support of the enterprise-wide contract management software application (CMS).
  • This position will be the point of contact in the organization when users encounter issues, resolve routine issues occurring with the software platform, engage in routine support calls and ad hoc support resolution calls with software vendor representatives, implement suggested issue resolutions provided by the vendor, manage data housed in the software and provide reports of this data, and lead configuration and revision of workflow throughout the Company for personnel who participate in the creation and revision of a contract.
  • This position is eligible for remote work with ability to be onsite when needed for meetings.
  • Performs administration of the contract management system software in production and test environments, to lead contract management software application projects; designs, develops codes, tests, and implements customized software application solutions; coordinates software upgrades, develops, and maintains integrity of the contract software application. Ensures the execution of data backups.
  • Performs technical and analytical work in the implementation and ongoing configuration and maintenance of the contract management system. Maintains accuracy of contract data.
  • Evaluates available software application upgrades and release notes to make determination regarding business need for upgrading operating versions as they relate to the mission, goals, and objectives of the Company.
  • Coordinates and deploys new releases, testing, and post-rollout activities. Write test scripts for new functionality and execution in UAT development environment prior to releasing in production environment.
  • Manages the bulk contracting functionality, including identification of project requirements, tasks, and milestones; analyzes data, verifies accuracy of data and performs data conversions for bulk data loads related to vendor management and provider networks to generate appropriate contracts including amendments.
  • Creates, tests, and maintains contract tracking terms; metadata, clause language templates and contract templates; develops and programs contract approval rules and workflows.
  • Designs, codes, develops, tests, and maintains custom reports using BI tools to manipulate data and create custom reports; uploads and schedules automatic contract reports delivery.
  • Communicates and maintains relationships with peers and management regarding contracting requirements; analyzes business areas needs and develops efficient solutions for creating contracts and reports to meet business needs and the requests of external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Develops and updates end user guides, conducts user training sessions, and provides ongoing first line technical support for all authorized users in the organization. Troubleshoot issues with end users.
  • Maintains highest level of security roles within the software.

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in administration of a contract management software application, including experience in providing problem determination and resolution for the specific application required, data management, use of business intelligence or artificial intelligence reporting and analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in implementation, configuration, administration and maintenance of enterprise-wide contract management software applications, preferably the Icertis Contract Intelligence Platform.
  • Working knowledge of application security policies, security roles, application permission groups, including the ability to implement and maintain user-level authorization and security controls.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis techniques, external data manipulation, conversion, data imports, and verification; strong proficiency in formatting data files and performing bulk data loads.
  • Ability to analyze business objectives, solve problems, and improve processes while developing innovative solutions for contracting requirements and contracting projects; ability to initiate and achieve successful results with minimal direction or coaching; must be able to work independently and exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assigned tasks.
  • Must have ability to interpret and translate technical and/or complex material into information meaningful to project team members and/or business personnel; ability to recommend approaches and solutions to complex problems.
  • Must have ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence with internal employees who access and use the software; establish strong working relationships with business and technology partners at all levels; exercise sound judgment; collaborate effectively with peers, subordinates and superiors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, analytical abilities, effective grammatical and human relations skills, and the ability to work independently are required.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently in a quickly changing work environment. The ability to comprehend, document, calculate, compare, contrast, visualize, and analyze are required.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word and Excel), and other software that edits or utilizes PDF files.
  • Must be a detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to focus under pressure and function in a fast-paced environment and successfully triage, prioritize, and manage workflow of multiple competing time critical priorities that arise.
  • Works independently with minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining priorities.
  • Must have the ability to organize and lead personnel and facilitate projects in an effective team-oriented work environment.
